LanceSoft is seeking a local contract nurse RN Assistant Manager for a local contract nursing job in Carbondale, Illinois.

Job Title: Assistant Nurse Manager (Full Time)
Location: Carbondale, IL

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing efforts to ensure that effective, efficient patient care is being provided and that quality standards and measures are met.
• Works with the Nurse Manager, Chief Director of Nursing and other management/leadership staff to establish and implement goals and objectives for the clinic and the organization.
• Guiding, planning and directing clinic activities with ongoing assessment of the quality and efficiency of those activities.
• Coordinating schedules for nursing staff assigned to the area of responsibility.
• Maintaining effective utilization of manpower, equipment and supplies.
• Investigates, attempts to resolve and reports complaints and identified risks.
• Oversees immunization program, including vaccine ordering process, proper storage and handling, inventory management and compliance with state and other requirements.
• Demonstrates ability in critical thinking, conflict management, motivation and mentoring.
• Demonstrates a positive and effective working relationship with the entire health care team.
• Provides direct patient care when needed.
  
   

Requirements

• Must have a valid Illinois driver’s license and auto liability insurance on personal vehicles.
• Must have a valid Illinois nursing license to practice as a LPN or RN.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of management experience
  
   

Starting salary: $51,320 - $79,620 

Salary will be commensurate with experience and current licensure.
