Job Title: Occupational Health Nurse - BMG

Reports To: Operations Manager and Medical Director
Location: I/N Tek Facility
Position Summary:

The Occupational Health Nurse provides onsite clinical care, health assessments, and case management to employees of I/N Tek. Under the direction of the Medical Director and Operations Manager, this role supports employee well-being, safety, and regulatory compliance while promoting a culture of health through education, prevention, and early intervention strategies.
Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver emergency and non-emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses in accordance with standing orders and clinical protocols.
• Support employee wellness through health screenings, assessments, and counseling.
• Coordinate and track occupational health programs, annual physicals, and regulatory testing.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, and assist with workers' compensation documentation.
• Lead initiatives in workplace safety, ergonomics, and environmental health in collaboration with Safety, Engineering, and Industrial Hygiene teams.
• Serve as a liaison with external healthcare providers, community agencies, and internal departments.
• Promote and facilitate use of the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
• Participate in emergency response planning, CPR/First Aid training, and safety committee meetings.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the State of Indiana required.
• Minimum 2-3 years of nursing experience; occupational health, public health, or onsite industrial experience preferred.
• Current BCLS certification; CPR Instructor or EMT/First Responder training a plus.
• Spirometry certification preferred.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong understanding of OSHA, worker's compensation laws, and occupational health best practices.
• Skilled in emergency response, case management, and health promotion strategies.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in maintaining electronic medical records and documentation.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Clinical and industrial setting with frequent walking, standing, and occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs).
• Must be able to provide CPR and physical support for injured employees when needed.
