Job Overview
We are seeking to hire patient and reliable part-time tutors to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals through personalized instruction and support. Sessions will be conducted in clients' homes, so a professional demeanor and appearance is expected at all times.

Please note that we are especially interested in candidates that have morning and/or early afternoon availability as our company works with many homeschool families that prefer these times of day, and candidates should expect to commit to working through the entire school calendar year (August-May).

Primary Duties:

• Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs.
• Deliver quality instruction that aligns with client's learning goals.
• Communicate effectively with parents and supervisor by providing feedback on student progress and addressing any academic or behavioral concerns.
• Maintain a calm and positive learning environment, ensuring a productive session.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree (college students with teaching experience will be considered)
• At least two years of classroom or tutoring experience in a variety of subject areas
• Knowledge of classroom management techniques to maintain a safe and effective learning atmosphere.
• Strong communication skills to educate and engage students effectively.
• Familiarity with homeschool or public school curriculum and state standards.
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Reliable transportation
• References and be able to pass a background check
