We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team and support the financial operations of our investment portfolio. This role will focus on financial reporting, cash flow management, and accounting for complex real estate transactions. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in GAAP accounting, real estate finance, and investment fund operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections for investment properties.
• Perform bank reconciliations, investor reporting, and general ledger accounting for multiple entities.
• Manage accounts receivable/payable, rent collections, and tenant bill-back reconciliations.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting for assets under management.
• Work closely with investment and asset management teams to assess property performance.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to support compliance efforts.
• Optimize financial processes, assisting with system implementations and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in real estate accounting or investment fund operations.
• Proficiency in NetSuite, Yardi, MRI, or other real estate accounting systems.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and tax implications for real estate investments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment with multiple investment structures.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
