Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Gas and Convenience Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our store. Must have Gas experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales performance. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for retail management, and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members.

Duties

• Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve store goals and objectives.
• Manage daily operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and maintaining store appearance.
• Responsible for the completion of daily paperwork & weekend paperwork every second weekend.
• Utilize POS and Bullock systems for sales transactions.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Conduct interviews, recruit new staff, and provide training to ensure a knowledgeable team.
• Manage LCBO Inventory and orders weekly.
• Oversee the ordering of inventory for Store. Some of this work can be delegated to your staff.
• Maintain effective communication with upper management regarding store operations and staff performance.
• This position in Full time 45 hours a week.
• Ensure equipment, building and general site conditions are maintained in excellent condition.
• follow all corporate policies and procedures, including health & safety; in a safe and reliable manner.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Gas and convenience store management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of sales management principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette.
• Proficiency in using POS & Bullock systems for transactions and reporting.
• Ability to recruit, interview, and train new employees effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
