FIREFIGHTER EXAMINATION CITY OF WICKLIFFE The Wickliffe Civil Service Commission announces an examination to establish an eligibility list for the position of Firefighter/Paramedic. The written portion of the exam is scheduled for Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at the Wickliffe Community Center, 900 Worden Road, Wickliffe, Ohio. A certificate from the Cuyahoga Community College or Auburn Career Centers Firefighters Agility Test will be required prior to taking the examination. DETAILED INFORMATION ON THE EXAMINATION PROCESS IS AVAILABLE WITH THE APPLICATION. Applications may be picked up beginning Monday, July 14, 2025 at the Wickliffe Fire Station, 29885 Euclid Avenue, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or are available for download on the website at COMPLETED APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN PERSON beginning Monday, July 14, 2025 from 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Wickliffe Fire Station. No application will be accepted after 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8, 2025. Examination fee of $25 (exact cash, check or money order) payable upon submitting application. Minimum qualifications for entrance to the examination: Minimum age of 18 to take exam, age 19 before appointment Valid drivers license High School Diploma or GED Certificate Paramedic Certification, State of Ohio and/or National Registry at date of appointment Current State of Ohio Firefighter II Certification at date of appointment Citizen of United States AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
